The divisional series typically starts in the afternoon, I dig it. Think it's in the Championship Series' that the primetime games become the norm, then the World Series of course. Last year I definitely remember the Cubs being at least the second game one for the day and it beginning around dinner time.

Forgot about the game until 7:27pm (sent a text, later checked) when the game was 3-2 Tigers, watched until about 9:40pm when it ended. Wow, what an awesome game! I was messaging friends to tell them to turn it on too.

Yeah, if there are two west coast games, there's usually a really early one for East Coasters (since they likely start at 3 & 6, or 4 and 7, or whatever, west coast time).

I haven't looked at the upcoming schedule, so I don't know how the Dodgers and Angels series will work out, other than they're both starting in CA.

That would be so bad if I rooted for the twins and then they won... Then the Sox finally lose to LA

Definitely earlier this year, I remember going into work bleary-eyed last season due to the lateness of the games.

Thursday night will be rough, a 9:37 start (never mind all the player intros and such).

I think the Rockies will beat up on the Phillies bullpen.

Yanks should mop the floor with the Twins. Sox and Angels... didn't they already play each other the past many post-seasons? ZZZZZZZzzzzzz haha.

Looking at all the match ups, I'm thinking the Dodgers and Cards has the possibility of being a great series.

Haha... probably! The Angels are a high-powered offensive team... terrible team ERA. Will come down to the pitching for the Sox.

Yeah, for sure! I'm not exactly overflowing with confidence (especially after the way the Sox kind of fizzled in key series near the end of the season) but I still expect them to do well. Starting and middle relief pitching has been a little sketchy.

hopefully these line up changes will come back to bite the yankees if the sox and them should meet

The Red Sox/Angels game can be interesting.

If the Angels can get runners on base, it can get ugly, since the Red Sox couldn't catch a one-legged man stealing.

But getting people on base could be the hard part.

Varitek threw out 16 of 124 base-stealers, or 13%.

Martinez threw out 2 of 19 (11%) since joining the team, and 9 of 65 (14%) overall this year.

So a combined 25 out of 189, or 13%.

By comparison, the Yankees catchers throw out 28% (Posada), 40% (Molina) and 43% (Cervelli) of base-stealers, or about 31% as a team.
