I love the optimism but wildcard would be a more realistic goal. I hope Morrow starts off the season strong tomorrow... we all know his skill set he just needs to get more consistent.

Awesome!!! Your the first Jays fan from Montana I've ever met...GO BLUEBIRDS I have the sports package up here and am fortunate enough to get every MLB game.

Currently watching the Dodgers/Padres game on FN Padres and was shocked to here Dick Enberg on the call. Didn't know he called ballgames along with his decades of NFL broadcasting.

The Padres look terrible. They're down 4 zip to Brooklyn in the bottom of the 3rd and thus far have committed 5 errors (should be 6) after only 12 innings of defensive play this year.

OK, I know it's only the first week of the season, and my country is (unfortunately) obsessed about hockey, but I was disappointed there weren't any games on any of the Sportsnet channels. Hopefully that will change soon. Last seaason, they frequently showed Yankees, Red Sox, and West coast games.

It seems like every year Mariano Rivera struggles and blows a couple saves early in the season, then after that he goes back to completely dominating the opposition. He struggled pretty bad today.

I went to the Diamondbacks-Giants opener yesterday. I had seats in the outfield just above the Giants bullpen in the third row. During batting practice I got my first ball ever when a ball fell near me while I was walking down the stairs. The game was a sellout and I was surprised by how many Giants fans were at the game. Whenever the Giants did something good their was a loud applause.

Like Halladay said, the older you get, the longer it takes for you to get back into the groove. Rivera will be fine as usual.

We are going to be wearing the Colt 45 unis on Tuesday, April 10th and then again on Friday, April 20th, the first of the "Flashback Fridays" (where they will be wearing the different unis from the colorful history of Astros unis).

Friday, May 4th - 1960s Shooting Star uniforms
Friday, May 18th - 1960s Shooting Star uniforms
Friday, June 1st - 1970s Rainbow uniforms
Friday, June 22nd - 1970s Rainbow uniforms
Friday, July 6th - 1980s Shoulder Rainbow uniforms
Friday, July 27th - 1980s Shoulder Rainbow uniforms
Friday, August 10th - 1990s Blue and Gold Star uniforms
