Even though I am not a fan of the Phillies, Kalas was my favorite baseball announcer. He will be missed.

Yankees might have some real problems. Wang's got an ERA of 28.93 and their other pitchers haven't been great. It's pretty sad that currently Nick Swisher is their best player, even pitching a scoreless inning. Jeter's in a slump and who knows if A Rod will be able to regain his form. Wonder if they'll freak out and try to get Peavy or some other big name.

Boy, and I thought the Sox had problems....28.93! And I didn't even know Swisher could pitch, and then I hear he threw for the ninth inning! Crazy.

Tampa Bay Rays fan here, from Chicago! How weird is that? Actually was a fan BEFORE last years World Series run, but oh well. I can definately see the Rays winning the AL Pennant again with all their young talent. They look even better this year with Pat Burrell!

Yanks are lucky they have Swisher! Probably their best player so far this year!

See the guy from the Rangers also hit for the cycle last night and went 6 for 6! HOLY!

So two cycles and a few almost no hitters so far this season. Nice!

Yeah, old Wakefield took a no-no into the 8th yesterday afternoon. Then it all unravelled but he sure did pitch a nice game, and the Sox desperately needed that win.

god the O's pitching is so SO so bad we are so lucky we having hitting now I really hope they understand they aren't going to keep coming out on the winning side when they put games in jeopardy so much

I saw that. Wake's so up and down some times he can't make it 4 innings then he has a game like this lol

The Mariners are definitely playing on another level this year. It's early, but they have taken taken 2 from the Angels, and swept the A's. Plus, everyone seems to be hitting and the pitching is excellent. I'm hoping to sweep the Angels today.

I also see that they have the best record in the AL. Nice!

Cliff Lee looks like his old regular self this year and not the Cy Young winner. His command is not anywhere close to what it was last year. What do people think of the new Yankee stadium?
