Indeed my friend. Once Gose, D, Arnaud, and Hechavarria are fixtures in the Jays lineup then we will definitely be the beast in the AL East. The Jays have the best prospect pool in all of baseball, just need time for them to develop.

I'm not envious ...quitter!! (that's how you'll be addressed from now on

). Anyone with a ton of money can build a great team....but I can respect a franchise more if they actually scout players and develop them in their system rather than just unloading the bank to instantly buy Championships.

Still think the MLB should impose a salary cap.

You're greatly underestimating the Jays talent level. Their record this year is only at .500 but the team has been playing without 3 of their top starting pitchers.....heck 3/5 of the rotation has been of the minor league variety the past 2 months and we're still only 3 games out of wildcard.

It's like taking Sabathia, Nova, and Kuroda out of your rotation and leaving you to pick up replacements from the farm for 2 months....then again that's a bad example i'm sure you guys would just open up your pocket book and buy a replacement.

When was the last time we made a major signing via FA again? and I'm not saying you have a bad farm system, but to make a comment that in 2 yrs your team will be dominating the hardest division in MLB when you team hasn't even sniffed the playoffs in almost 20yrs in a insane one to make.

Kuroda was only a 1yr deal (anyone could have signed him) which is hardly a major signing.

I just have a lot of confidence in our deep prospect pool and our starting core group right now ( Lawrie, EE, Rasmus, Bautista, Morrow). I'm not saying we're going to win the World Series in 2 years but I would expect to atleast challenge for the division lead or definitely earn a wild card spot.
