Not sure how that's possible seeing as the O's won the first game. Plus the Yanks scored 5 runs in the first tonight, but are now down 8-5.

Was told at work today, the Yanks beat 'em last night.

It was 5-0 Yanks in the 1st...what the Hell happened.

Good Luck to Travis Snider with the Bucs.

I'm less than thrilled we dealt him but I hope he'll get a chance to play RF everyday in Pittsburgh. He has a Great attitude, Great work ethic and is an above average ballplayer...he just needs the opportunity to play everyday.

Oddly enough the Jays battery for Snides 1st start in Toronto was Burnett & Barajos, as it is tonight in his 1st start with the Bucs. He got an infield single in his first at bat and later scored on a Grand Slam...

AJ throws a one hit shutout at Wrigley. The only hit was with 2 out in the 8th to a rookie pinch hitter hitting .117.

Hope the Bucs make the post season after 17 straight years under .500.

Ouch dude...I still remember when the Bucs gave up 2 in the bottom of 9th to Hotlanta in '92 (Sid Bream, that speedster).....Then the Braves had to play the Jays.

That would be funny is the first forced Wild Card play-in game ever ended up being Atlanta vs. Pittsburgh. This is the 20th anniversary of the Pirates last making the playoffs or even finishing with a winning record. If the playoffs started today that would actually be the matchup.

Man the D-backs seem more of a threat to win the NL west then both the Giants and the Dodgers who have been struggling, D-backs only 2.5 games out of first now, just swept the Dodgers, and the Giants have lost 5 of there last 6

Not a good debut for both former Phillies, Pence & Victorino, combined 0-7 with 3k's

They did the same last year. Came from out of nowhere. They don't have alot of "star" players but their lineup is pretty solid.

That would be great IMO. The Pirates have come a long way (especially since their owner was pocketing the revenue sharing money instead of spending it but they have stopped doing that). I'm happy that A.J Burnett is having a solid season (I'm not really surprised by it). Yeah, I wish he would have done that here, but not everyone can hack it in NY (even though he pitched the game of his career and won last fall in game 4 of the ALDS against the Tigers which forced game 5).
