I wish there was some video of Kenny Lofton being a Dodgers analysist I could show. He's arguably just as bad as McCarver. Makes me cringe everytime I hear him.

The team put themselves in that position (blowing a 10 game lead). People are using the ump's bad call as a scapegoat to how shitty the team has been playing since the all-star break (from a 10 game lead to to tied and I wouldn't be surprised if we end up 3rd in the division).

. The ump has nothing to do with the way the team has been playing, but that still doesn't detract from the screwjob we got from the umps last night. I hope that the call is a wake up call. I highly doubt we will end up 3rd in the division.

Really? if they haven't been playing shitty lately (just like yesterday), that play would be moot. With Tampa play well, Baltimore playing well and we playing like shit, we won't finish 3rd right?

The ump blew the call plain and simple. There is no other argument for it. I'm not saying that the call is going to cost us a playoff spot. I'm just saying he blew the call.

When was the last time the team won 2 games in a row? It's been a month. You really think a team play as shitty as they have will be a playoff team?

The best thing for them is to miss the post season so ownership will realize that a lot of changes need to be made instead of making the playoffs and get humiliated in the 1st round and then management will barely do anything and act like there's nothing wrong with the team.

He was safe. Even your own team's play by play broadcasters said it. Anyway, if they weren't acting like mummies the whole game (and basically the whole 2nd half), no big deal would have been made over that play.

The team is playing like shit. I'm not going to stay quiet and act like everything is fine, and I'm not going to wear the pink glasses either. When the play well, I praise them. When they don't, I rip them.

If Bob Brenly had been calling that Yankees game he would have gone off about how you should never slide into first. Every time someone slides into first he goes off on a rant about how there's statistical evidence that you're faster running through first then sliding and that there is great injury risk sliding into first.

Funny thing is that Tex was safe and if he would have run it out, he probably would have blown his calf out.
