I don't know about that. The A's are doing better than the O's and no one in hell gave the A's a chance even more so than the O's.

Please with mr disney movie making all the moves, he doesn't have near the destructive owner that we have, NOBODY thought this team had a shot at 500 let alone playoffs!

The A's had a firesale but as we see someone knows what they're doing, so I don't count those early power rankings of them being "worse" than the O's as tangible given it was only through the trades and dumping they got there.

lol. But Beane has a tightwad for an owner and Angelos has been known to open those purse strings. They are both deserving but the A's have been better than O's this year. I would vote for Melvin.

The way they report the Wild Card now is so stupid. I like what the Braves broadcast team has started doing

Atlanta -
St Louis -
Los Angeles 1 GB
Pittsburgh 2.5 GB

They're going with:
Atlanta +6
St Louis -

I'd vote for Billy Beane over Melvin

The only way Melvin will win COTY is if we beat out Texas for first place.Other wise with all the East coast bias he has no chance against Showalter .

Cespedes with a rifle. What a signing by Beane. He has really paid off. Not sure of their record without him is, but I do know it's very poor. He should win GM of the year. Looks like we'll take back sole possession of the AL East tonight. I think the story should change from the Yanks blowing a 10 game lead to the O's inability to take sole possession of the division.

I had no faith in them anyway... Would it have been nice, yeah... But they're still a S* team

If I had my way I'd honestly rather see the Dodgers or Cubs win a championship, over the O's I don't think you PA should be rewarded with such an honor with how poorly he runs his team, and treats the fanbase.

As soon as the Braves finish off the sweep of the Nationals, we only have 2 (Phillies and Pirates), and they both could be under before we play them.
