I've always wondered if Jeter would get pie'd in the face. There's no reason to think he wouldn't, but something about that just doesn't seem right. Just the whole idea of him being the captain, the big veteran on the team, always so stoic, etc., that it'd seem like Burnett would almost be too afraid to do it to him.

It would be interesting to see. Jeter is a very serious player. I think he'd have to let Burnett throw a pie in his face...the fans would be pretty ticked if he ran away lol..its becoming custom.

Angels leading 3-2! in 11th!

Looks like the Angels will tie up the series...the Yankees gave it to them on a silver platter. This is not good especially since the next two are @ their stadium.

I hate Aceves, and I'd like to say when I saw he was in for the 11th, I told everyone I'm watching the game with that the Angels were going to score.

If Girardi wasn't wasting his bullpen (Coke for 1 out, Joba for 1 out) they could've avoided using Aceves. Even then, they still had a few better options left. I wonder if they're saving Gaudin's arm in case they bail on the 3-man rotation idea.
