1. Cain
2. Bumgardner
3. Lincecum
4. Vogelsong
5. Zito

Why can't all 5 of them be pitching in the playoff?

My MVP for Giants is Marco Scutaro...man..that guy is clutch...he's a smart player...he hits to get on base...unlike Pablo who hits for HR stats.

If Scutaro stays HOT, then he is the key to the repeat of 2010. Everything else should fall in place.

It could be argued the Braves have the best staff headed into the playoffs. They have a better second half ERA than the Giants and the Nationals.

Why would I be afraid of my own pitching staff other then the fact that Gio can pitch so hard it may go through the pitchers glove and body, through the ump, through the backstop and into my ice cream

I know, but the playoffs are all about momentum, and right now, the Braves pitching staff has it.

Our final 8 games are actually pretty favorable. Looking at projected pitching match ups the only good pitcher the Braves face in the next 6 games is Josh Johnson.

We have:
vs. Miami x2
vs. NY Mets x3
@ Pittsburgh x3

Washington has a much tougher schedule.
@ Philly x2
@ St. Louis x3
vs. Philly x3

What's the tiebreaker for division title? If it's head to head the Braves went 6-4 vs. Washington this season. If it's best record vs. NL East teams we'd also have the tiebreaker.

It's a one-game playoff.

And the Braves went 8-10 against the Nats.... 6-4 is the second half of the season.
