What did everyone think of the double-play non-call in the 9th inning? (I think it was the 9th... don't really remember).

I'm fully aware that umps give benefit of doubt on plays like that, but the infielder has to at least make it look like they're following the rules, and come somewhat close to the base... the guy was a mile away, just so he could protect himself from being taken out by the slide.

I do like Aybar's use of "un-f---cking-believable" though. He may not be able to speak English, but he knows the important words.

It was beyond obvious. Even before the ump called it you could tell he was way off.

ya...he didn't come close to the bag..I liked how the fox commentator said "Aybar said it was unbelievable"..no he said fu*&*ng unbelievable on live television but it happens all the time.

I was on my way home when the game started, so I listened to the top of the 1st on the radio, and was home by the bottom of the 1st.

But anyway, ESPN radio seemed terrible. Jon Miller has the worst reaction time in the world. I could tell the result of the pitch based on the crowd noise, before he gets around to saying what happened.

His seemed faster than mine too, but then I realized I had rewound it to watch replays of that Aybar play, so I caught myself back up (I was about 30 seconds behind).

Does anyone want to be a hero tonight? Teix had a few chances, A-Rod already kind of did his work earlier, so I can forgive this latest pop-up. But somebody needs to get a hit.

Haha. I fast forwarded the parts in between pitches to catch up, without missing any of the potential hits.

7 more minutes and this game will cross the 5 hour mark.

this has been driving me nuts...no one is taking the plunge. the game should have been over an hour ago.

For a second there, I thought jellybeans prediction would be correct with Jeter but we didn't make it lol. Great..Cano made a little league error. Sloppy fielding tonight but what do you expect with the in climate weather.
