Zito actually has a pretty good postseason record. He's 5-3 with a 2.96 ERA in 9 starts. Verlander is 6-3 with a 3.80 ERA in the playoffs.

News flash Marlins. It's not Ozzie Guillen that's killing your franchise, it's having Jeffrey Loria as your owner. The guy meddles with everything and gave up on this team and started unloading players and salaries very early in the season. Ozzie is nothing more than a scapegoat for the screwups up the higher ups in the organization.

2 of their last 4 managers he's pushed out while they were having success, and both of those managers reached the playoffs this year.

I could only imagine the organization they'd have if everything had been left in place.

New Uni's suck too, nothing they can come up with is as sweet as the old marlins style

Getting canned by the Marlins was the best thing to ever happen to Fredi Gonzalez. I'm amazing the Marlins have 2 championships with dirtbags like Huizenga and Loria owning the franchise.

Yes, OK, the circumstances are unique, but I'm really not pleased that John Farrell leaves the Blue Jays to manage a division competitor.

Seriously, but thats how it always goes....someone has to get fired...and it ends up being the manager unfortunately.

Agreed. The clubhouse in Toronto had gotten out of control. ZERO accountablility and ZERO urgency.....I'm glad he's gone.
