Third stop throwing out wild accusations of Roids and cheating and accept the fact that if you are a true Tigers fan which I doubt cause you just showed up to this thread even tho you have been a member since 9/10 the Giants played better and deserved the win based on how they played. Either talk about the game, talk about baseball, or talk about next year, but don't talk about bullshit and give those of us that are Tigers fans that have been here for a while a bad rep and name.

Still shocked and embarassed from last night. Can't believe Verlander didn't show up with his usual stuff, maybe sweeping the Yanks and getting a week off was not such a good thing for us. The Giants played a great all around game. What is up with Sandoval? He hits something like 12hr's all year, then jacks 3 in one night? Based on his past performance, I doubt he can keep that up. Fister better get us a win tonight or it is over.

Schlutzy this is what its all about, the NL has an advantage in NL parks simply because there pitchers bat all the time. Zito killed us, that run he knocked in was like the nail in the coffin. Combine that with that funky bloop off 3rd, it just was the Giants night. Tigers looked rusty, they got hits and they got men on but the Giants were pitching very dangerously to our big 2. I still disagree with not having Berry and Dirks in simply because to win this series they are going to have to change how they play. The Tigers need to put up several runs based off taking a chance, a suicide squeeze, or steal 2nd and 3rd once in a while. I understand its a pain to steal 2nd with the amount of left handed pitchers they will throw at us but they need to do something, thank god its a best of 7.

I agree, Delmon should sit for Berry or Dirks for the games in SF.

I wouldn't say it's over if they lose tonight, but if they want to win it on Woodward they have to win 4 straight. The 2-3-2 format is horseshit.

Its far from over, as long as they split in SF the series should be over in Comerica, if it goes back to SF for games 6 & 7 they may not do very well

How should they do it? We don't need baseball to take 2.5 months like the NBA and NHL. Baseball is the only league (with series) that knows how to put together a playoffs (stupid 1-game WC round excluded).

Who are you to say I'm not a "true" tigers fan? You don't know me. I've lived in the detroit area all my life. I would say I'm a true fan. Just because I haven't been on this thread all year means I'm not in your eyes. Haha. Anyway back to the series. Yes like I said giants kicked our tail 1st game. But we saw what valverde could do which was nothing, so at least he's done this series. And our other 3 starting pitchers have been great so we will be fine. I think panda bear was a fluke game 1. If I'm wrong and he somehow plays like nelson cruz in the alcs against us last year, then we are in for a long series.

I'm just as shocked as you bud, I cant believe we hit Verlander like we did, I sure didnt see that coming, I thought it would have been a lot closer... And how about Zito, gotta give him some props too, he pretty much shut you guys down for the first 6 innings...

Giants pitchers are actually pretty decent hitters, more so then other teams I would say, our pitching has an RBI hit in each of the last 4 games

As bad a Verlander pitched, how about some mad props for Zito, he really shut the Tigers down for the first 6 innings mixing speeds well, locating the ball well, he was quite impressive... Then Lincecum came in and pitched another 4 strong innings.... Man what a weapon he is out of the pen, i can guarentee you he wont see anymore starts...
