Texas never said they won't re-sign Hamilton, they said they aren't going to try to sign him before free agency begins. They knew the only way they'd be able to sign him before free agency began was to overpay so they're going to let Hamilton explore the market and see what other teams are willing to offer. They are still going to try to re-sign him and Hamilton has said he'll give the Rangers a chance to match any offer.

Words cant describe how good it felt last night, I know we won 2 years ago, just something about this years team that really impresses me, we dont have any big named players like most teams do, we dont have many HUGE free agent signings like most teams do... We have heart, our guys just get it done, we play as a team, and we pick each other up... Cant complain about one guy, everyone had a role in this years playoffs...

#Zito #Redemption! This is why we paid him the big bucks, to do exactly what he did in game 5 in St Louis to keep us alive, and then in game 1 of the World Series... I will never say another negative thing about you my friend (and I've said alot), but thank you Zito

Bruce Bochy has to be one of the best, if not the best coach in baseball right now, I cant belive the some of the decisions he makes, and most of which pay off... Whether it be starting Zito game 1, or DH'ing Theriot last night who score the game winning run... He's amazing in the playoffs, hats off to Bruce Bochy

MVP Kung Fu Panda baby, carried us to a world series game 1 victory, made Verlander his Bi*tch.. and I hope he never forgets it

Theres just too much to say about this team so I wont bore you guys... Again, we beat a great team in the Tigers, all class, great fans, great players, good luck next year

Why are there so many stupid people out there, and this is exactly the reason I chose to stay OUT of SF last night ... Although, cops in riot gear were ready, and didnt get out of hand, as there were much less arrests then when we won in 2010...
