When he opted out of the final year of his deal with the Yankees it was rumored that he was looking for a 4-year deal worth around $60 million. So far there doesn't seem to be any teams interested in paying him near that much. Boras is trying to get the Tigers interested in Soriano but they apparently aren't interested and are happy with who they have. I'm anxious to see what kind of contract Soriano ends up with because it doesn't seem like any of the big spending teams are interested in him.

The problem is that most of the big money teams already have a closer, and nobody is paying a setup man that kind of money.

I hope Boras doesn't represent those guys. If he thought Soriano was worth $15 mill per year there's no telling what Kimbrel is worth.

Nope. Braves only have 1 person represented by Boras now (Christian Bethancourt). He'll likely get a shot at the majors this year if McCann continues to struggle or gets injured.

Over one guy? Absolutely. This isn't the NBA where one guy can carry a team to a championship. The Giants pitching has more to do with winning titles as one position player does.

I'm sorry but that infield fly they called on the braves in the playoff game just I cant get past that it was so stupid. Whats even worse was MLB did nothing and stood by the umps. I still have trouble deciding what was worse Seahawks win over GB or that Infield fly call.
