Free agent pitcher Kyle Lohse has agreed to a contract with the Brewers. I'm very interested to see what kind of money he got. He reportedly wanted a three-year deal in the $15 million per year range and hadn't gotten much interest.

Yeah... that was hard to watch the Tigers get swept. Killed me for days.

Good sign for them. Only thing I am worried about is that Loshe had his career year at age 33. I just hope it isn't a fluke year. I drafted him on my fantasy team so now I can start him!

If the Brewers bullpen holds up they could be a good team. Probably not playoff caliber, but over .500.

2 predictions, 4 different AL East teams

I wanted to include the Yankees, but I'm just worried about the hole they may be put in with so many guys out to start the season.

lol. That division is a crap shoot. There is a legitimate argument of which team will come out on top. First time I've been able to say that in a long time. I think they will be in a hole early, but will manage to grab the 2nd WC spot. At least I sure hope so lol. I just don't see it from the Jays, Red Sox are not there yet, and the O's are due for a regression considering their late innings pitching statistics from last year. Rays have the strongest pitching in the division and w/ a healthy Longoria they are a force. There is no doubt about that.

So weird looking at the schedule.

Sunday Night: Rangers @ Astros, and it's not interleague.
Monday Afternoon: Interleague play! On "opening day"! Angels @ Reds

Lol doubtful, I think we'll make the playoffs, but repeating in baseball is pretty damn hard to do... Plus it gets boring when the same team always wins, I like to spread the joy

Might have been a lot of disappointing endings, but makes the 14 consecutive division titles look impressive as well

Nope. Royals are loaded with talent. I know it's only Spring, but they've killed it there. The Tigers made the playoffs off the weakness of the division, and if the Royals step up, it'll come down to the wire.

The Royals rotation -- although improved -- is still not better than the Tigers. Then if you compare lineups it's not even close. Only thing KC has a leg up on over the Tigers is bullpen and defense. That's it. KC at MOST wins 85 games.

The astros are nearly 500 right now. They gonna win 81 games?
