And slipped into a BIG one, namely the mysterious and sinister "Pacific Entertainment"--aka "A name-only bootleg house that was convinced it wasn't"--which snapped up three "cult" films that weren't nailed down, and released them (if you could find their website, and we do mean if) with less VHS-to-DVD-R quality than your real bootlegger would've taken the time to deliver...

After legal wrangling, and the idealistic efforts of BU to rescue "Countdown", two of the hostages were freed and (along with "Monster Squad") found safe foster homes with real studios--
But the fate of "KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park" is still unknown.

I have their DVD release of Final Countdown and when I first watched it I was really impressed at how clean the transfer looked. I would dearly love to see this movie on Blu!

This would be a triple dip for me since I bought both Pacific's (horrible) DVD release and Blue Underground's.

I can't wait to see those F-14s rip into the Zeros in full 1080p

It's too bad Final Countdown is such an underappreciated film - I can only imagine how cool an alternate-history flick like this would be if done with current special effects.

this is good for old school horror fans, they will be cheapies but there some decent stuff there like Maniac and Uncle Sam, watch the trailer on thier website, they quality of the movies look really good

Ok so far I want Zombie, The Crazies, Tombs of the Blind Dead and about 20 others from these guys.

WOWOW is all I can say. This is a horror fan's dream come true for High Def!!! Hope they announce titles soon!
