I think that some people who didn’t get their tickets early might just be standing in the rain on Vine tomorrow evening.

Anyway, do you think that a current interview with Anne would be a worthwhile supplement to the eventual to be released Blu-ray movie about Saudis, Turks and a Brit (http://blog.taragana.com/n/letters-b...overed-172930/) in the desert?
Penton-Man,

Since you mentioned her work earlier in this thread I thought I'd forward the news that Lawrence of Arabia editor, Anne Coates has been elected to the Board of Governors for the Oscars.

That's a good one. I wonder if Spain will still offer protection in case they don't win the final after the Octopus picked the Dutch team

Oh, I agree, I was referring to all the GC contenders other than Evans and Contador. What was it, Andy only put thirty seconds? or so on the later anyway.

Hey, I was one of those et. al. guys!
Another downside is that now, we won’t be able to see anymore pics of those beautiful fräuleins in the stands supporting Germany and off-hand, I don’t recall any pics of Spanish soccer babes having been even posted here….or, at least moved me to remember them.

It seems relatively speaking, not many Spanish folks turned up in South Africa to support their team.

Despite all the talk of being about as good as Spain it seemed as if they did not believe in their capabilities themselves.
Exactly what Jurgen said in the post-game analysis which aired here on ESPN.

No, Oliver you don’t understand. I’ll be meeting with someone involved in the technical production of the original theatrical presentation. I’m not sure if he was or wasn’t involved in the recent Blu-ray incarnation, as I haven’t watched any of the added value extras on the newest release of the motion picture on Blu-ray disc.

I thought it be a pleasant change for some interested fans of the film (without impotent agendas) to actually learn some hard facts concerning the principal photography and such to dilute some of the teenage angst recently exhibited over the world wide web….be it pro or anti-Blu-ray version 2.

Other than in the post production of a modern film with vfx, no ‘fake’ grain is ever added except to blend in an area of a large scratch during a restoration job.

It’s really not needed and would just make the job longer and more difficult due to the increased data load.

I find that bloggers as a whole are unfairly kind to studios or Blu-ray producers with whom they have good connections with (in terms of back-and-forth communication) often turning a blind eye to obvious deficiencies in the picture quality of said content providers’ Blu-ray movie product… in order to guarantee future access to rumor news and other behind-the-scenes stuff.

It’s so transparently hypocritical and self-serving that it turns my stomach. The topper was that I was once beseeched by another Insider to not call out (and that I ask Torsten Kaiser to do the same) thee obviously unnecessary DNR of the recent Fellowship of the Ring Blu-ray as indentified in screenshot analysis of the Blu-ray vs. the HDTV version.

Get this….the excuse given by the Insider for Torsten and myself *to be kind* to the FOTR Blu-ray was because if we were not and honestly called a spade (comparative lack of detail) a spade (obvious DNR), it would place in jeopardy the bidding by WB for MGM.

First of all, none of the negotiators for either WB or the consortium that once owned MGM even read this thread and secondly, anyone really involved in the negotiations at that time wouldn’t be at liberty to speak in detail about it to ‘bloggers’ on the internet be it *on-the-record* or *off-the-record*. The excuse was so ridiculous that it now borders on being comical. Additionally, my relative silence on the Fellowship of the Ring Blu-ray matter sure didn’t prevent the hedge funds which hold the debt owed by MGM by stepping in ahead of WB in the first place. Did it?

Finally, some good 3D health news to counter the 3D alarmists…
http://au.news.yahoo.com/a/-/mp/7536...h-risk-expert/

My practical recommendation to anyone truly seriously interested in their health as it relates to technology is to not spend some much time watching 2D flat screens like texting and such and get outdoors more often…..

so, got my email from AZN promoting Tommy... when does one appropriately start begging for Schwag?

(oh, the irony... an anti-materialist message, chanting "we're not going to take" the trappings of a consumerist society, and all I want is a Ken Russel bobblehead... sigh...)

Unbecoming, I know. Sorry, it won't happen again...

Maybe he's seen the Geico commercial during the TdF too many times where the soccer announcer is calling the chess match.
