The answer is still no. Amy would never forgive me.
Child of the sixties? Admittedly, b1957.

But bait the master? I'll leave that to Mystik, or something like that.

Seriously, Amy aside, the interest in the editing was genuine and sincere, not gossip.

Can ANY insider explain to me why it is ONLY Fox who seems to be delaying their titles?

Master and Commander
I, Robot
Independence Day

are pretty big casualties, but the question remains

Why only Fox?

Not an insider, but this is the best explanation we have about the Fox situation.

https://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=708

Consumers have been griping about Fox putting out titles that are not compatible with current player firmware upgrades. Since firmware upgrades are so slow by manufacturers of said standalone players, Fox has had to push release dates back. I know it isn't Fox's problem that manufacturers of those players are slow about releasing updates, but Fox is still getting griped out for releasing those titles.

A good example of firmware updates not coming out is the Philips BDP9000. I've heard many people having problems with Live Free or Die Hard starting on that player, but Philips has yet to put out an update to their firmware or stated a way for the movie to be played on the BDP9000.

To ANY of the insiders. Can you comment on the inability of WB to provide enough copies of “Blade Runner”. Was there a problem in production or did the retailers simply miscalculate how popular this title would be?

Any thread would require pics. Penton can keep his anonymity by not being held to the picture rule.

In response to all the PM’s I received concerning the jacket for sale on e-bay.
I checked back and the dude updated the ad (yet again) with a pic of the inside label, I imagine as some here requested him to do.

The answer is yes, it is the real deal, not a knock-off esp. if the Sony logo is on the left cuff, which I can’t tell from the pics but, could be another question for you potential buyers out there to confirm with the seller before you place a bid –but I can’t really see him faking the label.

So, bid away for those interested as only a handful were produced.

LoL,
Dude-- this isn’t like day trading in the stock market!
I have heard nothing new but, I am always keeping a wary watch for any end runs around the Blu-crew because I don’t trust those sneaky b*stards esp. when things like this come down the line after the fact.

I haven’t heard of anything to be worried about at all but, I always sleep with one eye open until the fat lady sings. It would be foolish to do otherwise.

Buy WB Blu-rays this holiday season.
