San Diego, who wants to see "We Own the Night"? - Blu-ray Forum

OK i'm going out on a limb here,
potential to be embarassed = high.
potential of pulling it off = minimal

I know there are more than a few San Diego people on here, what i want to know is who wants to hang out on october 12th and go see the future blu ray exclusive release "We own the night" it looks pretty bad ass. Along the same line as "The Departed" bad ass.

Come on I will name names. Blu-ray Fan, BTBuck1, bvryann, Calit2ube, cureguy, D91, guidosarduche, jermwhl, krisztoforo, sdmike, simcal, Swordfish, Titan. i'm drawing a blank on the others. but i know you are out there. Edwards 18 mira mesa? AMC Mission Valley? Ultrastar Poway (about 1/4 mile from my place)? come on.......who's with me.

I don't live in San Diego, but this movie does look good and I can't was to see/own it! It looks like Universal is distributing it in the UK...is there potential for a UK imports on HD-DVD? I hope not.

I may be down (depending on the results of my dr. appt the 9th) If I am not having surgery that week, I will be in like Flynn.

Always up for a change of atmosphere, Edwards 18...then maybe a trip over to the BBY across the street before or after to pick up a few flicks!

I would love to join y'all, but I will be turning my fiancee into my wife the very next weekend and I am pretty sure that I would get in a lot of trouble for commiting to do something the last weekend before the wedding.

You were starting to sway me, but then I remembered that is the night that her parents are coming into town and they are meeting my parents and we're going to dinner. Which means I would be in more than just a small amount of trouble if I scheduled this for anytime that weekend.

as for time and day.. i think we can all agree that traffic sucks just about anywhere on friday. so how about saturday semi early evening showing at edwards 18 in mira mesa. around 5ish? i'll probably go get some oscar's breadsticks or something beforehand. thats the rough time. we can pound out the details once the schedule is released. sound bueno?

damn, I'd be there in a heart beat, but I'm in the military and on the otherside of the country. I miss San Diego. You guys should see our movie theatre here, it's part of a crapy strip mall and just plain sad.

Sounds good to me. My wife is going to Vegas that weekend, so she's a no show right off the bat. I'm going to have to find someone to sit on my kid...I mean a babysitter, but shouldn't be a problem! I think a pre-pat&oscar meal and BBY visit would be cool. Go rape and pillage the BD section

and maybe recruit a few more BD fans from the HD-DVD side...LOL!

Damm I am jealous 2 hours to drive to see a movie is a bit much, but damm I do want to see that movie. Btw i cant believe you just said raped and pillage, i almost spit my drink on my precious monitor haha.

Wowsers, that's almost within walking distance for me. I can *90 percent likely* make it. Let's see how many others we can get.
