Agreed.

I would love to see Levine direct this but I guess it's not happening. Shame too. Maybe Dickerson can surprise people.

It will be interesting to eventually find out if this turns out to be true. I don't know if to believe this rumor or not yet. I have heard of Jared Leto before. I imagine that he would have to bulk up a little bit for the role, right ?

No. Stephen Strange is a surgeon and uses the mystical arts to battle, not his strength. The thing to look for in an actor for this role is someone that can flex their mental muscle onscreen. Someone who can make us believe that they are a genius, an egomaniac, and very selfish and make us feel for him when he finally changes his ways. He will do some hand to hand combat but bulking up isn't really necessary for this role. Sure, getting into shape is but he doesn't have to be muscular.

Oh, That is true. I didn't think of it that way before. Good point.

Exorcism of Emily Rose was good. Sinister was amazeballs.

And his upcoming Deliver Us from Evil looks to be pretty damn good also.

So they got a guy who has directed horror and if the script is good-he has a chance to do something really new and hopefully special for Marvel. This is Marvel's 2nd excursion outside straight super-hero after Gotg.

Now really can't wait for Deliver Us From Evil.

Choice of director actually has me intrigued.
Marvel seems to want their mysticism side of their universe to have a darker feel, which I am all for.

Same here. I think he will do a great job on Doctor Strange. I remember that he directed The Day the Earth Stood Still movie from 2008. That turned out to be a good movie.

Well, I disagree that the movie was good - I thought it was crap. However, my issues were with the script and Keanu Reeves' performance. The direction was fine.

I look forward to his vision of 'Doctor Strange'.

Really liked Exorcism of Emily Rose and thought Sinister was damn good until the crappy ending. I like the choice and would love to see someone like Leto be involved. He did a great job in Dallas Buyers Club and the guy has hardly aged the last 20+ years.

At least that movies script and Keanu Reeves won't be part of this Doctor Strange movie.

Don't be too sure about that. Keanu could already be cast as Dr. Strange and we just don't know it yet!!

I wish Lawrence Olivier was still alive--I think he's the only person who could pull off Dr Strange.
