Great actor but I'm not sure he'd be my top choice... would prefer someone older... but I can't complain I guess as I'm sure he'll do well

I'm not thrilled with the choice, but I trust Marvel and they almost always knock it out of the park with who they cast. They know what they're doing.

I'm not saying he can't do it, not at all; just that he wasn't my preferred choice. I'm sure he'll do well.

I honestly think he's perfect for the role (as I understand it from reading wikis) and sometimes you shouldn't be scared to make the obvious choice.

I'll wait and see, but not a fan of this announcement. Not because CumberKHAAAN! can't act but because I just can't visualise him physically as the character.

I approve. Just saw him in Danny Boyle's stage production of Frankenstein yesterday and it reconfirms my opinion that he is fantastic in everything.

I'm learning, like Walt has said sooo many times, to trust in MARVEL's casting choices.

Joaquin Phoenix was a great choice for his talents, but in the end he screwed himself up!Even Al Pacino has offered he'd like to climb aboard the MARVEL express! What a douche, Phoenix. His own loss...

This man (Cumberbatch), will carry the next phase just fine. Great talent, commanding presence, can stand against anyone in The MCU.

He was my first choice.

Just like I'm willing to bet Chadwick Boseman will be Black Panther, and I hope/pray for Peter Mensah to be T'Chaka:
