Well as I posted on the 6th my cinema's had it as 115 mins (which is basically what it is) for a while now. So I guess Fandango is wrong. Or rounding up.

Yes, That's true. I was just thrown off by the runtime listed on that other website.

If they are rounding up then I wonder why they don't just wait until they find out, about the actual '115 min runtime' before listing a rounded up runtime .

SPOILTASTIC Details On DOCTOR STRANGE's Mid And Post Credits Sequences Revealed!!

[Show spoiler]First up, the mid credits scene features one of The Avengers, and that is - yes, you guessed it - The Mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth). It seems The Sorcerer Supreme plans to rid the earth of all mystical threats by the end of the film, and he deems that to include Thor and his nefarious brother, Loki. Strange invites Thor to his Sanctum Santorum and agrees to help him locate Odin on one condition: both he and Loki leave earth and return to Asgard... for good.

Then, after the credits have rolled we see Baron Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) steal Benjamin Bratt's character's - who used magic to heal his paralisys earlier on in the movie - power, and declare, “There are too many sorcerers.” Obviously this sets up Mordo as the villain in the inevitable Doctor Strange sequel.

hey, is the entire movie "filmed" in IMAX and if so, is it IMAX 3D as well?

Not the entire movie, at the IMAX preview they had this:

Benedict Cumberbatch appeared in a pre-recorded clip, and said at the beginning of the preview that there’s more than an hours worth of footage that was made specifically for IMAX presentations.

So not the entire film but over half of it, which is awesome. I've already got two IMAX showings booked and if it's super amazing I'll definitely make an effort for a 3rd.

And it's unfortunate that the the end credits (or mid-credits? I'm not sure since I'm avoiding articles about it) has been revealed because people are saying it's extremely spoilery and now I'm paranoid about having it ruined before I can get to watch it. I'm gonna have to avoid looking at anything regarding the film online now, but I did avoid Civil War spoilers even though there was a fan screening a couple of weeks before it came out, so I should be ok. I'm sure everyone here will be considerate and use spoiler tags correctly if they need to discuss it, and at least I only have 10 days to go, so not too long now.

cool, if the entire movie was filmed in IMAX I would see it there, but, since it's not, i'll be seeing it at the AMC Dolby Cinema Theater!

Im skeptical w/ 105min.

He has quite a story.

U have to show him as the cocky Doctor, fall, search, develop the threat, get trained, and beat the threat.

It took Batman Begins a while before he even puts the suit on.

Dr. Strange shouldnt be rushed. His world is not the usual pew-pew+fisticuffs comic.

115 minutes is fine, as long as they use it properly. It's only just under 2 hours, so there's plenty of time.

It is funny you mention Batman Begins. This movie looks like a combination of Batman Begins and Inception.

Being that Nolan ripped off Strange's origin for Batman Begins, that makes sense.
