3:10 to Yuma, Lincoln Lawyer and X-Men: First Class. I guess this one is number four, but it has some upsides so it's subjective to some extent. I don't think those others are.

Techradar best UHDs 2017 Giving the film a visual uptick in every category over the standard Blu-ray edition, for fans, this is by far the best way to experience Oblivion.

Yes, I'm surprised by the comments here. To my eyes the 4K is better than the BD.

I too prefer the UHD over the bluray. Yes, the UHD is not quite as sharp, but the HDR more than makes up for it.

I also prefer the UHD -- the color and dynamic range are terrific.

It's not rocket science guys, it depends on whether you prefer HDR or detail. If it's HDR, the UHD looks better. If it's detail then the BD does.

I really liked the look of the movie. Never seen the bluray so I can't compare, but the sound/audio were good enough to distract me from the fairly boring story and the fact that Tom Cruise is utterly insane. Will watch again for aesthetics.

How 'bout watching again for the overall gestalt, aided and abetted by a tremendous score, incredible visuals and some enjoyable performances--including that of Mr. Cruise--and leave opinion (not "fact") about insanity out of it.

I've had Oblivion on UHD BD since it was released (I preordered it) and despite HDR I think the 1080p BD looks better. I don't understand why and how they did such a mess upscaling it, a good 2K DI has the potential to look great on 4K HDR (Star Trek Into Darkness, Prometheus, Alien Covenant...) how on Earth this pass through quality controls?
A pitty, it could look great, an missed oportunity.

It's been noted before but the streaming Dolby Vision version is superior to what was encoded on the UHD disc edition

HDR format apart, does it look sharper than the UHD BD release?

They really need to FIX and reissue this disc. We got screwed big time on this one, and if it was any other movie I wouldn’t care. FIX IT!
How do we start a petition?
We got the Gladiator BD fixed, how can we get this one redone?

So should I just return my BF copy to Best Buy (haven't opened yet) and keep my BD copy?

Man, this is another "damned if you do, damned if you don't" 4K situation for me. The only way I can get DV right now is if I stream from Vudu on my OLED65B6, but the only way I can get Atmos is if I watch my UHD disc on my Xbox One X. I'm having to watch everything twice just to get the best of both worlds split into separate viewings.

Gggggggggggggreeeeeeeaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... .!!!!!
