Yea my son turns 3 in December, i wanted to take him already. I went to a theater that films that are a couple months old and it only cost 2-3$ a ticket, itll hurt more if it was like 8-9 a ticket and he started to act up lol. Well we saw Iron Man 3, he loved it, he did move around between me and my wife but besides that not bad, he was really happy afterwards. Next week i plan on taking him again, get him used to it.

I'm sitting in a waiting room while a family member is having surgery.
While I'm waiting I'm surfing around and answering emails.

Doing my celebratory dance after scoring a set of Seymour Duncan BLACK WINTER pickups from Norway.

I'm sure it was just a marketing ploy but we'll see.

Long story short [not that you even care ] Seymour Duncan released a highly limited set of ridiculously high output pickups with the Scandinavian metal scene in mind.

If they proved awesome enough for the heaviest people in the universe, they would be released worldwide.

A very kind brother from a place called Andalsnes is going to send me a set before they are released here.

I'm back home. I need to go get something to eat so I'm going right back out. When I get back I have to print postage and all that jazz.

Lucy, those pickups look great. I'll have to find a sound sample somewhere.

I decided to go to Best Buy today and I just got back. Gong to watch Resident Evil: Afterlife and Resident Evil: Retribution both in 3D now.

Being appreciative of the great service I received.
Had free tickets to the internship but the screening was cancelled.
Drove 20 miles for the free screening so wasn't too pleased to say the least.
The colleague behind the counter then said to compensate they would allow me into any showing today.
Almost drove back but decided to go back in to speak to the manager.
Having spoken to her and informing her of my 20 mile journey she gave me 4 complimentary tickets to use at any time.
I thought that was superb,a free ticket into four tickets.
I just tried to call their customer service number to compliment the manager on her service but it was closed but I will call tomorrow.
Will catch the internship when it comes out and yet to decide on the other three.
Have a free ticket from another promotion to use this Sunday and going to watch this is the end.

Do you play!?!?

I didn't think anybody would know the lingo here so I didn't really go into it.

The Black Winters are The Distortion pickup with a triple ceramic magnet.

Other than the Triple, they have the same winds and pole pieces as the Distortions.

These are on youtube, but to be honest the guy playing has SUCH a produced sound, they both sound exactly the same to me. From what I've heard, they have more highs in the low end to keep the bottom tighter which is why I'm so interested it trying them.

Anyway...back to the real world

I'm finishing off my big jug of water at work.

I only dabble lol. I'm a much better bass player than I am a guitar player. I can drum too but I haven't been behind a kit in awhile.

I'm thankful that it is the end of the day because I am clawing my own eyes out having to deal with my co-worker's interpretation of how photoshop works.

I've said it before and I'll keep saying it. You should have to have a license to practice photoshop.

I hear ya Lucy

I'm going to have to get a fuel pump so I can take some bad gas out of my mower. I hope that's the only thing wrong so I can get my yard mowed.

Created a mock schedule for my classes this fall. Doesn't look too bad. Start everyday at 9, except Friday which starts at 8. Latest day is Wednesday which lasts until 5:15 and Friday at 4:15. Monday is until 3:45 but the rest of the week, I'm done at 12:15.

Hopefully it holds up when I go to orientation this week and register for classes.

You mean that I can't just call myself a photoshop expert because I can crop a photo?

I had to go buy a new refrigerator at Sears. My old one went out today and honestly the cost to fix it wasn't worth it since it is an older basic featured fridge. I got the new Kenmore Elite French Door 33 cubic feet model in stainless steel to replace it with. It was regularly $4199 but since they are having an early 4th sale plus with my 5% off for having a sears card I got it delivered for $2599. (includes tax, delivery, and removal of prior fridge)

I just had to clean out of fridge and toss some food that went bad or melted. I have an extra fridge in my garage that I usually just use for water/sports drinks and I ended up using it for what items I was able to keep. It's not a terribly large fridge so everything is just stuffed in there very slapdash.

Now I'm watching True Lies and getting ready for bed. It's been a long day.....
