Finally figured it out. We've been entering in the wrong wifi password. Never felt so dumb. Forgot I changed it months ago.

Glad it wasn't something serious. I had an older HP laptop that had the wifi adapter die. It would see a connection, but wouldn't work. After awhile it stopped searching for connections and went out completely. I trashed it instead of fixing it though.
