I live in the UK and imported the US version, would it be worth ringing the US number to see if I can get a replacement? Has anyone else from the UK done this?

called yesterday, got the confirmation, will have this sent out today.

i had my envelope all ready to go and sealed and i look @ my note i made w/the address here @ work and noticed i forgot to put a card in w/my name, address, and phone #!!!

good thing i caught that before i went to the post office!!!

Just brought it to the Post Office. Shipping cost $1.05, but I bought a bubbler mail last night at CVS, so it only cost about $2, $3, altogether.

I sent the disc via priority mail ($4.90 incl delivery conf) on Saturday and it looks like it will be delivered soon. Pretty fast considering I am in the mid section of the country. According to the tracking info:

Processed through Sort Facility, August 01, 2010, 10:38 pm, SANTA CLARITA, CA 91383

I imported as well but I'm sure we'll have to send our discs to the Universal UK address.

I'm in the same boat, except I live in Belgium (and also imported from the US). Please keep me informed if you have any news on how to proceed. I've sent them an e-mail but no reply as of yet.

Those looking for an envelope to send in the disc, you can purchase a 5x8" cardboard photo envelope at Target/Walmart and most stores for $1. Just look in the shipping section with the envelopes. I've used these in the past and no ones ever complained that the disk was delivered broke.

This question has been asked by about 5 people in the last several pages. Paramount will use the yellow UPC stickers like they did with Saving Private Ryan, but they have not said when they will ship these new packages to the stores.

When I called the number, the woman asked what color my UPC code was, implying that there could be more than just the white barcode out. Just thought this was odd.

It sounds like then that they may be quietly shipping the new remastered version to retailers without announcing a date. A tail tucked between the legs scenario.

Exactly what I was thinking. Idk why she would ask that question unless there was a way to pick up the remastered edition.

Yeah I thought that was odd as well. I almost wanted to ask "how could I possibly have a copy with a yellow UPC?". She was nice and it was late, so I didn't bother.
