20th Century Fox Jingle All the Way (1996)

Just a few more weeks till Christmas but I still can't find any reviews for this movie. Does anyone know of a site with a review up or coming soon?

Jingle All the Way Blu-ray
Jingle All the Way Blu-ray

Quote:
Christmas. It's the most magical time of year. But while many are bustling to find their children the perfect gifts, others aren't quite ready to adopt the holiday spirit. High-powered businessman Howard Langston loves his family, but he just can't seem to find enough time for wife Liz and son Jamie. But Howard will make it up to Jamie... he'll buy him the toy on every child's list to Santa -- and the hottest action figure of the season -- Turbo Man! Unfortunately, Howard if facing one BIG problem: It's Christmas Eve, and Turbo Man has been sold out since Thanksgiving! Howard's down-to-the-wire trek to find Turbo Man quickly turns into an odyssey wilder than he could have ever imagined. In the course of his seemingly endless Yuletide misadventures, he finds himself in a no-holds-barred fight-to-the-finish with a crazed postman named Myron, who is out to claim the last Turbo Man for his own kid.

Should it matter? This is only the greatest holiday smash action hit of all time. Blind buy this bad boy.

Three self-imposed rules to keep me out of debt:

1. Always watch a movie before hand before buying it on Blu-ray. If you liked it, buy it. If you wanted to like it but didn't, watch it again and hope your opinion changes.

2. The movie must get the equivalent of 80% rating in picture quality from a decent looking website. (At first, it was just highdefdigest that I got my reviews from until they gave The Longest Day a 50%. Then I started looking here until they gave another favourite movie of mine less than 80%. Now, pretty much any website I find that looks respectable works. User reviews don't count.)

3. Keep yourself at a pace of just one new Blu-ray purchase a week; this includes movies, television shows, and PS3 games.

Call me OCD but I like my system.... it's just a little painful having to wait around for someone to review this holiday classic..... I'll probably buy it tomorrow, but not open it until there's a review (hopefully good). If not, then it'll have to be returned.

Nice system. The only thing I watch out for is DVD's I already own. If its worth the upgrade I'll buy Blu-Ray. I don't think I'll be buying JATW. Have seen it too many times to actually want to own it. Maybe if it goes on sale.

Unfortunately, Fox has not released screeners of Jingle all the Way for review just yet, so that's why you haven't seen any reviews.

I'm not buying this one. I still have my Super Mega HD 1080P VHS Clam Shell copy of it.

My wife and I like to watch this during the holiday's also. There is a charm to it and Sinbad has a good role in the movie. He and Awnole work good together. They should have done another comedy together.
