correct. The future ones will have a yellow upc. That's why I put a comma inbetween them, which means or.

I went to Best Buy earlier for their pre-grand opening and they gave me a $20 gift card. Of course I bought the remastered version of Gladiator (non 2-disc label with no white label over the top). Just a minute ago, I popped it in my PS3 just to make sure its the remastered version and what do you know it is the remastered. It looks more like a blu-ray now than an upgraded dvd. It only cost me $9.18.

Paramount finally called me yesterday, but I'll be da**ed if I am going to pay to ship it to them and wait 3 weeks. So I took mine to Walmart today and they exchanged it, no questions asked even though it was opened, missing the proof of purchase and I had with no receipt. I know it has been said before, but it really sucks the way they are handling this. It's like you have to know a secret code to get to the treasure.

I saw a half dozen copies at BB in Jackson, MS on Tuesday. Didn't buy one as I had already mailed in my old one for replacement.

So Paramount has the new edition out there with both a white UPC and a yellow UPC? Both with the same UPC #? Now, if the yellow UPC # is different than the white UPC #, that would make a little more sense. If that's not the case, then what are they thinking? Can they make it any more difficult for the retailers and the customers to purchase the corrected version

I just want to share with everybody, who has been struggling with this issue, that I sent my copy to the address, that it has been circulating, on Saturday August 7, 2010. And that finally today August 17, 2010, I received my replacement, I checked the number in the inner disc and ends in B1r2, after that I proceed to watch the movie, and since the beginning you can see the BIG DIFFERENCE in the picture, is awesome, I couldn't believe it, arrows and everything is there. For those still waiting, be patient, the reward is worth the wait.

I hope I get my disc tomorrow. I live only a few hours away from Valencia. The wait's been nearly unbearable.

My Gladiator replacement has arrived, inner disc last 4 code reads B1R2. I sent it on August 3rd. Wasn't expecting it to arrive so soon.

They received mine on August 3rd. I hope I get my mine tomorrow. It doesn't seem like they're even processing them on a first come, first serve basis as I live in Socal.

Is the "2 disc set" above the paramount logo also on the slipcover, or only on the inner blu-ray case?

I would encourage anybody struggling with their disc replacement to go with their heart. If it's not an appropriate time, there will be one later. Never, ever try to rush into posting nonsensical repetitive jargon reporting your "waiting" status that means nothing or useful to anyone - save your precious post for reporting useful information.

My replacement arrived at my door last night. Sat down and watched it immediately. Wow, what a transfer!

Yeah, if we all waited to post only useful information, this board would be dead. So unless we have said information, we should keep our thoughts, feelings, and sometime annoyances to ourselves? What's the fun in that?

If everyone followed that advice, it would be the end of the Internet as we know it.

I enjoy reading what people write. It makes me feel part of the community. Like in a club without face-to-face meetings.

If I'm not interested in a post, I just skip it. If I feel I want to add to the discussion, I will.
