Yea lol, i ordered it on september 26, and received it on october 29 !! Never saw an oversea shipping taking that long. Anyway, it was still a faster process than thoses who have been waiting for the replacement program for 2months, or hoping to come by the remastered copy in a store :/

I just ordered it from Amazon.ca and received the old one on Friday. Back it goes.

I guess I'll have to wait 'till I have this in my hand somewhere so I can identify which version it is before purchasing. bummer!

How long did it take you to receive it?

4 weeks after i made the purchase, but 3 weeks after it was shipped..... I purchased on september 26, it was sent on October 7 and i received it on October 29.

I probably overreacted thinking it was lost, it's just that normally when i order stuff from Europe it rarely takes more then 10-12 days to arrive. But i didn't harass grooves-inc.com too much, i just asked them and they agreed to ship another copy without asking me much questions. I e-mailed them saying i will ship the second copy back to them, i don't want to rip them off.

I am getting sick of waiting from Amazon to post the remastered edition. How can I be sure that that is the edition they are shipping? I hear people are receiving them from Amazon and some are getting the first edition.

I live outside the US and Canada, so no retailers are an option for me.

I posted a few days ago in the other Gladiator thread that I received the yellow UPC remastered version from Amazon US and I had mine shipped to me in Sydney Australia so I think you're safe....

Just watched the Remastered Extended DC of Gladiator and really enjoyed the longer movie version.

Much more scenes that tie together events that had me scratching my head before.

The DC is the only way to see this and it's a pity the theatrical version was butchered so.

The PQ has some judder sadly, but over it's 4.5/5.

Movie is 10/10.

I got mine from Amazon some 2 months ago, and it was the remastered version, indeed. Of course, Amazon has many storing and distribution plants with maybe different stock, but I would say you are pretty safe by now.

The main problem is with Paramount themselves as they have failed to admit that there was ever a problem with the initial Gladiator release,and it was a customer choice to replace their enhanced Gladiator disc if they wanted too.

This is why they would not pay the postage costs when you returned your disc,and the whole process was nothing like the Saving private Ryan issue where they fully admitted a fault with the disc.

So no wonder retailers are confused i know i am !!!

That one arrived way faster. And i'm keeping it finally, lol, f*** being nice, i consider it as a compensation for the stress the first delivery gave me, lol !

When i told my sister i would receive a second copy for free, she begged me to give it to her, she's a big fan of Gladiator and she's into Blu-ray !

Does anyone know if they make a full size"Gladiator" poster that has the picture from the U.K. Steelbook picture on it? I've looked everywhere i know and haven't seen one

I just got my copy from Amazon, and it has the Yellow UPC. But the movie doesn't look quite right and looks at bit DNR'ed. Can anyone confirm with me if the remastered disc has has BDVL-103860B1-3 followed by BVDL 103860A1-1 on the inner ring. I see no B1R1 or B1R2 codes at all. I think the disc I have should be remaster, but want to confirm somehow via the codes I have.

Is there any image online that I can do an easy direct comparison with.
