I dont know if they can do that with uncompressed sound. When sound was compressed, 5.1 EX, they would take the sound that would come through the left and right monitor channels and reproduce them to the back . Sound you that you were hearing was not not real. If they were to an HD track I think it has to be 5.1, 6.1 which I cant even remember any BD that are, and 7.1. We will wait and see.

I hope they confirm this soon with the specs and bonus features. I hope it includes both a theatrical version along with the extended one. Also, I hope all the special features are included. I can't wait for this to be released. And September is a good time as it is the month of my birthday!

My birthday is in September too

I also hope that the case gets a special treatment..it probably wont be steelbook but it can still look unique...hopefully they use the special edition poster as the slipcover and the regular poster as the cover of the blu ray case...

The Extended DVD edition also had the theatrical which is hopeful. As with Alien, the theatrical version remains Ridley's version of choice with the other being an alternate version.

Why preorder this movie yet?! It hasn't even been announced yet officially. It's not like they are going to run out right away.

"Saphire" makes sense for Blu-ray
