i never understood why some of the other regions put their rating stickers on the front cover guess it's just how they do things, but i think it clutters the cover and makes it look ugly

So from the list of the special features, it looks like they're including most of the best material from both of the previous DVD releases (5 discs). I still own both those, but I'll probably get rid of them both when this Blu comes out.

This movie is very good from beginning to the end, but i just won't paid $27.99 for it, old movie such as this, should not cost more than $20 since most people has own it dvd version aleady.

I wouldn't be too hasty to throw the baby out with the bathwater. Price depends on the product. If this is indeed a definitive version then the price may be worth it. But to lump this in with other catalog titles like Butch Cassidy and Robocop (which were never worth the 28 bucks retailers charged on day 1) isnt fair. Having said that, I'm sure if your wait a few months, the price will drop some.

As has been repeated numerous times, the native/original studio mix on the vast majority of Hollywood films is 5.1.

Universal is going to have U-control on both discs whereas Paramount probably will not. Looks like I'll be importing this.

They're including ALL of the material, from what I can see. I did a direct comparison.

If the UK version is region-free I will get that...

In fact, I will get both versions...Only because I actually like the American cover better...but I wished it was steel-book. SO the only way to satisfy my taste is to get both
