I'm surprised they aren't starting it at 6 and going to midnight, but whatever. I already have my tickets cause I'm super lame and want the lanyard to cherish my Up All Night with Bilbo experience.

If the whole film is as good as people are saying then it goes to follow that the whole film is as a whole good directing. Since both Jackson and Serkis directed it he can deduce that Serkis did a good job. Damn ain't deduction and using our brain fun? The reviewer doesn't need to know specifically which scenes serkis directed to say he is good at it. The whole film just has to be directed well to know that causr at some point we know for a fact he was directing scenes. Otherwise their'd be poorly directed parts and the reviewer would have said some parts are pretty weak and I can't be sure who is responsible, Serkis or Jackson.

What this does is tell us that the film is consistently directed and good, but you'd rather ignore that and be a smartass and attack this reviewer for a simple off the cuff logical remark.

Nah, this elf has obviously aged, it was the first thing I noticed in the trailer and production diaries.

Oh yeah definitely going to this, unlike the sequel to Anchor-Man and Walter Mitty, this is one highly anticipated December release I actually want to see. Hope it changes my opinion of its predecessor which I found to be bland when i saw it in theatres.

I just found out Stadium 14 is showing Desolation of Smaug in high frame rate in Columbia! So surprised to hear that.

I can't wait for this to come out, be amazing, and shut everyone up and their meaningless complaints about the first one. The first hobbit was fine, so bored of the same ol criticisms of the long intro. The fellowship was long as hell too, no one cared then. Stop whining and get lost in the movie.

My interest has fallen off the charts. I really liked the LotR films, but, I'm Middle-Earth'd out. Only reason why I am going on next Friday is because the Godzilla trailer is supposedly attached.
