I just joined the team!

Will it give the team credit for the units I did before joining a team?

I know, my points are piling up in the last 2 days. Went from 199,000 to 206,000 points in 2 days. Probably didn't hurt that my 2 PS3s each got the mega 1,200,000 frame work units. Me likey the points those bring!

Someone at work informed me that we had a team so I shifted all of my clients over a few months back. Had to start over from scratch again, but it's all still for a worthy cause.

I don't know about you guys, but I am starting to get pretty fed up with Folding 1.3 on the PS3. I have 2 PS3's, a 60GB in the living room and a 40GB in the bedroom. Since I don't use the 40GB unit that much, I have it fold all day long.

However, the last couple of weeks it has been locking up the PS3 continously. After about 48 hours of folding - sometimes 36 - it totally locks up to the point I have to power-cycle in. No telling how much energy and time it has waisted being locked up and not folding.

I am seriously considering to turn that PS3 off for a while until such time they have a new client version.

If you feel that your money (through your electricity bill) is being wasted then you should shut it off temporarily. Just remember to check every once in a while for the new client

I fold too but am not a part of any team...yet.

Would like to join one.

Is there any one big team for all us Bluray.com forum people?

Is there a limit to how many people can be on one team?

I'd love to join up with somebody as I've completed just under 70 units and I leave my PS3 on 24/7 and am folding unless I'm using it.

I think it's been only a few months since I've starting folding though.

I've looked and I think I need only a team number and I'll be good to go.

This has nothing to do with the rest of the message but I still think this is the greatest icon since the original smiley

Sorry to hear you're having so many issues. I would delete folding@home with I believe the triangle button in the XMB and go to the Store and re-download/install it. I understand that can sometimes fix what looks to be some corrupt files. My 2 40s and my 1 60 GB fold all the time with no freezes.

As far as joining someone keep with your own user name, in the end it doesn't matter as long as you keep folding.
