Hey all. New PS3 owner as of this month. Signed up today. Went to work and left the PS3 running... 1 WU completed so far... midway through second... woo-hoo!

Don't see my name on that list in the original post though... it says Team: 56895.... hope I put it in right.

check it when you get home...sometimes that list isn't updated with the most current data but definitely check when you get home

alright I just threw a few dollars down for a new quad system which should be up and going sometime next week. That is if I can figure out how to put it together.

well sorry guys but my PS3 is going offline tonight, being shipped out tomorrow for repair, so hopefully in two weeks it should be up and running again. My PC and Notebook will remain on 24/7 though

Just out of curiosity... how do you get "points" awarded towards the score?

Great choice! Q6600 is the best bang for your buck (F@H-wise)

I have not yet got around to re-seat my CPU heatsink nor have I have the $$$ to spend the near $60 for a Zalman 9700

Yes, Zalman CNPS9700 is what I have. I had to replace the box cooler... Even before the overclock, I would get spikes to 72C-75C temps with my Maxwell 3D calculations.

OC's are looking good. I'm at the point of collecting empties and couch surfing for change to upgrade my lowly E6400. I also couldn't help but notice that when sorting teams by overall PpD, Blu-ray.com comes in at 31. In other words, only 30 teams are producing the guys who just celebrated their first b-day! And yes, I am a stats addict. Folding is serious business at the [H].

I'm telling you, the Q6600 and my ASUS P5K motherboard combo is VERY EASY to OC with.
Almost fool proof and I've been fortunate enough to not have any issues booting in all my tweaking.

We're have been flirting in the 110 range for a little while now...we were @ 109 earlier and now back to 111
Someone around us has been keeping pretty even with us...know what this means?

I just joined up and my PS3 is doing its first WU now... Says it should be done around 12:30 tonight... Hopefully in the next couple of weeks/month I can get a couple of my old PC's that are sitting around doing nothing up and running doing some folding...
