Folding signatures for EVERYONE!!
I'm seeing #109. Where do you see 111?

Edit: Probably at the official stanford stats. Thats including aggregate, meaning including default and google that aren't considered real teams.

The rankings will often vary a few points from site to site, but the most important factor to keep in mind is the cause.

blu-ray.com fold-a-thon! 1st week of April!

I'm working with 2 PC's now and my PS3. I'm hoping to get about 10 more dedicated CPU's soon!
Edit: I have done 12 units so far since my joining at Blu-ray.com's Folding@Home team. (I joined less than 3 days ago!)

Just curious about the reprocusions (probally spelt that wrong) of running your ps3 heat wise, full load, for the folding and how it may decrese the life of your unit.

We have no evidence that this occurs - even for the original models such as the 60gb that run hotter (since they have the older revision chip compared to the newer 40gb model). Many people in this forum have left their PS3 on and folding day and night for a while (some even a year now, per the anniversary of the Blu-ray.com team).

Use your best judgement, make sure you have adequate air circulation, etc - this topic has come up a lot in this forum so you could also search for other perspectives.

My 60gb is running 24/7 right now. It hasn't even done anything other than folding since I got it. My 20gb folds part of the time. It's the primary unit for everything.

No evidence of the 60gb blowing up or anything. What a well built piece of equipment.

Default Where'd PaulB404 go?

What's happened, PaulB404? You used to be #1. You're black on the http://kakaostats.com/t.php?t=56895 page. You're one bump from a flatline. You used to be a killer folder. You used to be somebody . . .

*attaches AED*

CLEAR!

That's funny... kakaostats shows that I will overtake our current #1 man - melikefish - in... 3,879 days. Just in time for my retirement.

The PS3 will actually fold better than most single core processors. My laptop (AMD Athlon 3400+) will fold a unit in about 24 hours for about 380 points. The PS3 folds 125 point units every 3 hours (250 point units every 6). It is much faster and the folding program takes full advantage of the processing power within the PS3 compared to a PC.

You should see the FOLDATHON announcement at the top of each forum page now, if anything needs changing or adding, preferably PM me but I'll be checking here as well.
