498 of 70492 as of now.
Not too shabby ![]() They should write a script into the OS that if a disc has been sitting there for something like 1 hour with no user input and not playing content that it will shut down the player & launch F@H. There's been tons of times I've come home and the BD/DVD was watched & forgotten about by a family member & it has sat 1/2 the day on the menu screen in a loop. That's valuable crunching time and a waste of electricity going down the drain! |

There are a lot of teams who have contributors for awhile. Then they lose interest and move on. I suspect many teams have this problem. People don't realize that folding doesn't impact your PC's performance - it's set to the lowest priority.
We've got several team members who are MIA - they folded a few work units, then shut it down and disappeared ![]() BTW, I highly recommend installing it as a service rather than a GUI, if you're running Win2K, XP or VIsta, that is. It's cleaner and faster. You can then use Electron Microscope III to monitor your progress. If you're unsure how to do that, PM me and I'll send you a step-by-step ![]() |

I've read that the PS3 Cell processor has 20 times the processing power as the typical current PC. So we have a little bit of advantage. It would be nice to get more Blu-ray fans to sign up as members and get into the top 100.

Last I looked we were up to 454. The only issue I have come across from folding is that I almost feel guilty when I stop it so I can play!

Just joined the blu-ray.com team today!! I've already had like 18 workunits completed but I guess they don't transfer over now that i've joined the team. Oh well, have to get it cranking out more work units tonite then!!!

Here is a site for those who are curious about other teams and how the team does hourly, daily, and weekly.
