This should've never been announced so soon. I would have waited for Leipzig. That's probably when it's going to be released anyway.

Anyone know where this program is going to end up on the XMB? Is it going to get its own icon under Network or Playstation Network? Or is it going to be something that you download from the PS Store and then (unfortunately) end up stuck under the Games category?

P.S., Sony REALLY needs to make some sort of effort to rid the PS3 of the "Delaystation" nickname. It seems all they keep doing is proving it more and more correct.

My guess would be that it'll get it's own spot on the playstation network and then you'll download and install the actual content, but that's just my guess.

Jack Tretton should have just kept his mouth shut. Nobody was expecting LWP this early until he said by the end of the month. If they didn't say anything at all I would have been ecstatic to see it come out in August. Now I'm just annoyed it was "delayed". They should just stop announcing vague release times and surprise us. Playstation would have a much better rep if they did that.

In the end I still love my PS3 though. Had a 360 got the RROD and will never go back. My PS3 experience has been much better than my 360. oh and PSN is just as good as XBL. I have experienced no difference. Lag is lag no matter what system you connect to. Blame your ISP not the system, you can only blame MS\PS if there servers can't handle the load and I doubt thats the problem most of the time. On PS most games have the PS3 host the game...so you cant even blame Sony as much as MS. (360 cant host some games).

Is there an offical release date for life with playstation? I think that it'll be free as well because the other one for the wii is free.

no there was never an "official date" however, there was a statment made at E3 saying end of July but that came and passed now they say it's delayed

I might have known. I bet that life with playstation and Home will be two of the biggest things that sony will make for the ps3 and they want to make sure that both of these services are the best that they can be. I know that it can be hard to wait after numerous delays, but just keep reminding yourself how much better it'll be then if it were released right now.

Logic would dictate that one would need an official date in order to have a chance to be delayed.

I am only getting 960 PPD on my 8500GT. Does the visualization work for you? Mine says that the core is not running, but FAHmon is saying that it is and I am getting credit. Must be beta pangs.

I stopped running all of it...SP1 on Vista slowed down my folding to 20 minutes per unit on each instance of SMP and my graphics card was getting too hot (stock cooling) - my PC is running much cooler now...

Can you cancel a current WU and download another one? The one I'm on says it'll take me 30 hours to complete. I heard that if you don't complete a WU within a week, that it won't count. If that's true, then I don't want to complete this large one if it won't go anywhere.
