Not sure but I would think so! Currently F@H runs at 1080p and looks pretty good

So far, LWP sounds like what you would find on the wii.

My bad, let me rephrase that sentence. Early photos have shown a globe of the earth so will you be able to view only one mode or can you choose between different modes?

There's really not much info at the moment. At least not that I know.

That, and I'm not so sure of what you mean by "different modes."

Default Minor problem

I have a minor problem with folding@home. I was working on a work unit and the work unit failed to upload. What would happen is that the progress bar at the bottom would say 5% and then 6% and then go back to 5% and then 6% and then I would get a server failed error message. I let it run, but no luck on the second or third attempt. I quit the program and then started it up again. Now the program appears to hang at the loading screen. I can rotate the work unit around, but I can't see it. I was wondering if I should just wait a few hours and then try again or uninstall and reinstall folding@home?

It usually means a server issue on their side. Mine has done that a few times and eventually it will work.

I actually just uninstalled and reinstalled folding@home. Not a big deal. Even though I did 73 work units, the total number now is zero, but though units that I did before still count I think.

You know how it goes with Sony and PS3-related peripherals. A big introduction, followed by a slight delay, followed by a longer delay, followed by a little something to take the sting off. Here we have word from Noam Rimon, senior development manager at SCEA R&D, that the news-blasting (and uncomfortably named) Life with PlayStation will once again be delayed. According to Noam, Sony is "still pushing some paperwork" on the service, though he gave no expected time frame for the actual launch. Nevertheless, he softened the blow by announcing once and for all that it will indeed be free (and accessible directly from the XMB) whenever it finally goes live. Gotta take the good with the bad, we guess.

I would have just waited a while instead of uninstalling it! I have over 300 work units. I would be 'gutted' if I had to uninstall F@H

The only thing you lose is the count in the f@h program. There will still be a record on the donor page.

It's not a contest anyway, who cares?

you only "lose" them on the program, the folding@home stats still register your wu's

I don't feel bad about uninstalling and reinstalling folding@home. Better a program then the console. I can always replace a program. I would have liked to get to 100 work units. Maybe I will this time. Something happened and I knew that I would have to reinstall which I did.

I was thinking that it would be cool to view a 3D map of the earth, like with google earth, but only have that on LWP or have weather effects like rain or sunshie or clouds.
