Demon posted on the FB page today that Blue Monkey (Insect) will be available on the site this upcoming weekend. Very excited for the release and can't wait to pick it up but it seems that DF is moving forward with using the 'Insect' cover art on the disc art, slip and I assume the case art as well.

I hope the original Blue Monkey art will be available as a reverse as many of us remember the title being released as Blue Monkey if I'm correct?

Anyways, minor nit pick but yeah...I wonder if there will also be a standard release to go along for people who just want the film with no alternate title slip?

Hey co-villain, General Tom here reporting in for Dark Force. You have a bit of misinformation here I wanted to point out. Today's Facebook post pertained to the unveiling of the new slipcover for the huge upcoming Dark Force/Code Red release of BLUE MONKEY. I can tell you having seen the new slip it looks insane. And it hasn't even undergone 3D emboss and glow procedures yet. This thing is going to be a knockout. That's the slipcover which features the INSECT art. The blu wrap will have the BLUE MONKEY title and art featuring the screaming head. It will not be available to purchase this weekend but I am being told the Demon will reveal the official street date when the new slip is unveiled.

I watched Teenage Hitchhikers today.

It's just the kind of movie I enjoy in the summer. Site review is accurate... "naughty, but not crude". Complete silly Drive-In trash that is a good 70s time capsule.

I have a few other titles like it such as the Cheerleaders from Code Red.

Can my fellow genre fans recommend some more titles of perfectly harmless, titilating, likable, sun-baked, 1970s Drive In romps on Blu Ray?
