I remember the good old days when you would go to see a "family" movie at the local theater or drive-in, but you'd then see a trailer preview for something "shocking" like MOONLIGHTING WIVES. A friend's parents took us kids to see CAT BALLOU at a drive-in theater, and the parents were really pissed when the MOONLIGHTING WIVES tailer was shown.

Hmmm...never heard of Moonlighting Wives, but based on the trailer is seems entertaining enough. I'm in for a copy.....though it really feels like it should have been on a Drive-In double feature release.

Ya I thought the same thing, and kinda concerned that the drive-in double features are going to be far and few between now. Remember they were going to do that with the last one. If I recall it was announced as a double feature, then later he said it was going to be 2 separate releases, then it was changed back to a double feature. I love those, my fav releases from them and hope they keep em up!

Moonlighting Wives has been one I've been wanting to see since trying to watch all the recommended stuff at the back of Re/Search 10: Incredibly Strange Films. Glad it's getting a more accessible release and in uncut form. Although it does seem very drive-in double feature.

I feel like sometimes Dark Force's placement of titles on standalone vs double feature is confusing. Ride the Hot Wind definitely seemed like a double feature title, whereas a flick like Bog, a horror movie starring several name cult actors that never had a decent release, could easily have been a standalone.

Have the DVD of Moonlighting Wives. Don’t remember the movie real well, but will probably upgrade. Although, should probably take a look at the DVD first.

Let's hope Dave keeps the drive-in series going, I get pretty good mileage out of the one's I buy. Was really glad that Weekend Murders/Whose Child ended up as a DF in the end.

BOG/Mako could have been easily been two individual releases for sure, and I would have bought them On the other hand, it's probably the best Drive-In release ever. Now, if Young Cycle Girls/Ride the Hot Wind double feature were a thing it would be just as awesome.

Received a shipping notification and did not receive a tracking number. Then my package showed up in 2-3 days. The Dark Forces work in mysterious ways.

They shipped on the 21st and I received it on the 23rd. That's pretty fast for media mail from CA to AL. I'm waiting on priority packages from FL that have been out for a week already. Did Dark Force kidnap Santa this year?

The material they put on the creature's eyes on the slip for Hard Rock Nightmare is flaking off. It's cool otherwise. Glad I was able to get the Bog/Mako set after fearing they had sold out. Threw in Primal Scream because it was better than paying for shipping.

Talk about a ringing endorsement for a film! That should be placed on the packaging of any future release.

I bought almost all of the Re/Search books back in the late 80’s and they’ve been favorites ever since. They covered so many cool and interesting topics that were difficult to find before the internet. The Incredibly Strange Film Book and Jonathon Ross’ Incredibly Strange Film Show were highly influential on my taste in film.

Maybe, but the DVD doesn't include the five minutes of nudie footage which are reportedly contained in the original camera negative which Dark Force accessed for this new Blu-ray.

There are not that many reviews for the Dark Force releases. The only reviews I have come across are from people who bought the release.

Hmm, I though so. I was scanning the net before asking, could hardly find anything substantial screenshot wise.
