Ya I'm sad that I preordered Drive In #18 along with my Dead Pit preorder as that's been out for months but held up due to Dead Pit taking so long. I thought it was supposed to be out in Oct/Nov but here we are.

To be honest, I don't mind waiting as long as the UHDs are done properly. I do understand the frustration in the long wait though.

Ya and I know Dave been going through a rough time and my waiting on a movie is nothing in comparison, and if I wanted that other one earlier I shoulda have simply ordered it separate so that's on me. No big deal, just antsy to get both and I hope Dave is doing ok!

Ah damn I guess I didn't check it in time, I had been checking off and on all day and probably caught it within the hour it opened. I just figured they didn't have any period. I ended up buying Moonlighting Housewives, Hundra w/ slip, and Terror Express though.

If they had offered those titles as a $50 set I would have purchased it. They just don't have enough titles I want to make a $50 guess.

I was a little on the fence on the Sarno flick, but for $44 with the lovely and talented Kate Mara in Whose Child Am I?, I couldn't resist.

I pre-ordered both UHDs back when they initially went up and am looking forward to seeing how they turned out! I'm also eager to get Final Exam when it's ready.

My order with Moonlighting Wives and Whose Child Am I? arrived today. Huge Kate O'Mara fan so I'm watching Whose Child? first. The elements show some wear but are generally good, colors and detail vary as well, but on the whole it's pretty decent and very much in line with the other films Drive-in Double Features Series. O'Mara is fantastic in a film focused on what, at the time, must have been a pretty boundary-pushing subject. I do question the "science" and some of the practices behind this one a little bit, but I'm sure there's some dramatic license & liberties being taken. It has a very nice slip as well! It's a solid release for anyone considering a purchase. I'll report on Wives once I've had a chance to give it a vidi.

So Defalco is scalper scum now? I wonder who the fools are that actually bought them. Probably the same people that would buy Roadhouse for over a $100, instead of waiting a month and getting from VS directly much cheaper. Obviously these will be on sale again (next sale?). Severin are the kings of bullshit. Doubt they'd spend that much money putting that together and just throw away the rest of them. I'm sure Four Flies will show again at it's normal price.

The completist in me wants to upgrade Scream, but it's objectively the worst slasher flick of the golden age... if not the worst one ever made.

A pathetic abortion of a film. If you can even call it a film. It's more like a collection of pointless scenes that only loosely fit together to barely resemble a movie, occupied by motiveless characters who don't really do or say or feel anything. The "plot" is non-existent and the ending feels so abrupt and lacking in resolution because virtually nothing happens for the full runtime prior to the credits rolling. It's god-awful.

You'd have a more exciting time watching paint dry, I promise. Think Wes Caven's The Hills Have Eyes - Part II but only the transition shots and people mumbling in the background lmao. It's so bad it's bad. But I still might upgrade myself because I'm an idiot.

Yeah, I bought the blu when Bill was selling it and sold it off right away. It really is a terrible film and not in the good way. You may be right...It may be the worst slashers ever. When I heard it was going to be put out on UHD, I literally laughed and said...why??? Hilarious choice.. It must have some sort of fan base, but it is an awful film. I will NOT be buying the UHD.. Blind Buyers...Be Very Aware...
