Anyone know if the UHD of Mirror Mirror has the Damon Packard featurette that's on the blu? I don't see it listed...just the commentary track.

It does not. We would have had to do a second bluray disc with that and the feature in HD which would have put the price way up. Not only that but it would devaluate the now high price of the previous bluray release which we hate to do for all of you good enough to purchase that one. To all of the collector's out there the main reason for purchasing any of these Dark Force Platinum 4K series should be for the superior quality of the feature and not for a previously released bluray and extras. And MIRROR MIRROR especially looks SPECTACULAR to the point where it's like watching a different movie. So the big extra is the insane Savage Tracks with multiple special guests which I'm sure you will all enjoy and the awesome Glow in the Dark slipcover but now that isn't even going to be available. Due to some complaints regarding a typo error stating "4k Ultra HD + Bluray" on face when it's just the 4K disc we were forced to pull it. That's why pre-orders are always a good idea as everyone that did will be receiving the slipcover. I hope this message is helpful to everyone considering these releases.

I got a chance to see the "Mirror Mirror" 4k UHD tonight. Bottom line...best Dark Force release ever in terms of video quality! This is the type of effort I would like to see in the future for all Dark Force 4k UHDs. First and foremost, it has been cleaned up beautifully. It's practically spotless. Best of all, film grain is present from beginning to end. Fine tasteful HDR colors and solid details as well. The slipcover is really stunning too. I'll be listening to the commentary the next time I view the 4k UHD and I'm sure it will be entertaining as hell. Great job Dark Force!

Thank you very much asmodeux21, this was the review we were waiting for. I definitely agree this turned out to be the best quality Dark Force release to date. It was quite expensive between the restoration, high end 4K scan, HDR and new color correction but the end result has been stunning and majorly enhances viewing the movie. The "Savage Tracks" commentary also came out great so we look forward to your review on that as well. We plan to go live maybe even later today to show everyone how it looks. Thank you slasherdisc as well. I think we tapped into something with the "Savage Tracks", they are a lot of fun to do and we hope to keep them up if people like them. Be sure to let the Negative King Joe Rubin know you enjoy them. He's a very big part of it.

I hear you barsalou. The store will be reopening tomorrow with the LAST CHANCE to purchase the now in stock MIRROR MIRROR with the awesome glow in the dark slipcover. MVD has forced us to pull the slipcover due to an error on the front stating 4K UltraHD + Bluray, when it should have been just the 4K. But due to the big public demand on the very cool slip we are going to sell some more before it is pulled permanently. So not only will this be the best looking Dark Force release to date but it will have the most limited expensive slipcover to date as well. Oh well...the dark forces have struck again!

By the way Demon Dave, is there any chance that the Dark Forces might upgrade Mirror Mirror II: Raven Dance (1994) to 4K UHD sometime soon as well?

You know, to complete the entire series/franchise.
