The only reserve I stll have about VII is the way Abrams treated his last Star Trek movie. Things were going great until the 'shocker' twist, stemming from nostalgia but needlessly done. Could have been a great standalone villain, rather than trying to pull at people's fanfare strings. It was truly an awful move on his/writer's part. I hope he doesn't have too many cheesy throwbacks in this. That being said, if the movie opens up with Boba Fett flying out of the Sarlacc Pit, I'm in!

The big surprise, I’m told, is that Ford has a gigantic role in the first of the next three films. Disney hasn’t been commenting on any of this, and today’s no different. Stay tuned.

Clearly, the announcements are coming Sunday, May 4, though I would not be surprised it the announcements leak early on Saturday.
I'm hoping we get to see a group shot of cast and crew!

I'm excited. Nice mix of veteran actors and up and comers. I'm just really dying to know what the plot is. The screenplay is all that matters at this point.

She's lost a lot of weight for the movie, but I still don't think it would be something anyone would want to see.

Why not this movie will need a minimal marketing budget and will probably bring in an easy 700+ million.
