No I haven't. I saw the toys once and that sparked my interest in them, although I could never track them down. Now that you've reminded me of it, I just may search again. Thank you! And thanks for reminding us all that Star Wars is great. Just good, clean fun, and nothing to get upset over (I'd hate to see what some of these Star Wars geeks do when they spill milk...)!

I have heard that rumor too but not sure why they would want him. If Lucas really did compress Episodes 6-12(?) all into Jedi, then I don't see how Kasdan can help them other than saying "well, this is what we were going to do". I mean, you can't suddenly say Luke and Leah are not related and stuff like that to try and get things back to how they were going to be. but then again, what is a consultant - someone you talk to about ideas. |

![]() Kid Lucas talks about EP VII I served this kid a Queensland Chicken and Shrimp at Outback back in 1998. I was a manager there and George and the 2 kids ate there often. |

1)Hayden's acting - Some scenes are bad but others are quite good- the garage scene, immolation in ROTS, the scene where he hears how his mom was captured, his farewell to Obi-Wan, etc. 2)Anakin's personality- Some don't like seeing him as a happy kid in TPM. I have no problems seeing him say stuff like 'yipeee'. He's 10, his behavior is quite alright. 3)The reason for his turn - Some wanted him trying to acquire greater power to bring peace and were quite pissed to see him turn for his wife and also didn't like seeing him crying. I love this reason actually and it fits well with his personality as his family is the reason he turns back. It's would've sucked if he was like Tom Riddle (From Harry Potter) or something. 4)The green screen - the original trilogy had matte paintings. Quote:
Yes they were, but J.J uses these lenses that distort the image a bit. Look at the faces in Star Trek and Super 8 to see what I mean. |

Anakin is a great character. He is so in love with life that he can't bear to watch it whither. This makes him desperate and willing to listen to any BS when promised that he can hold onto his life and the life of others forever. This is why in the opening battle of ROTS he wishes to go off mission briefly to save the clones in peril. This comes across as more obvious in the book, which also includes a beautiful scene where he and Obi-Wan witness a supernova and Obi-Wan points out that; "even the stars die". Anakin has trouble dealing with this.
And is that what's going on with the heads of folks in JJ's movies? Star Trek Into Darkness is the most obvious I believe, especially when viewed in 3D (terrible conversion too...). I hope also, that this "effect" doesn't creep into the Star Wars movies. I want a consistent look, which, shoot me for saying if you want, I feel George Lucas was mostly true to in the Prequel Trilogy. |

I'm a big fan of J.J but I think Cuarón or Kosinski would have been perfect for this. |

As for your previous question, I don't think a saga movie could work without Sith. Maybe Dark Jedi would work as well, or better. Mostly because they could have a similar threat, without involving the rules of the Sith, such as there can be only two, and also remain true to the prophecy that Anakin destroyed the Sith. I don't know if I'd be open to the option of either Palpatine returning as a ghost, or a separate external threat similar to the Yuuzhan Vong. However a great script can make any threat palatable, so if they chose one of these paths they do have potential to make it great. At any rate I do love the EU's idea that there are remnant Imperial Forces lurking around the core worlds, and would love to see Stormtroopers and Star Destroyers again. But please no Death Stars! |
