All the talk about the lightsaber not being practical makes me laugh, Im looking at the bright side of things. George Lucas isn't directing these movies and the new movies are destin to be better the those crap PT that Lucas made.

Rewatched the teaser on my big screen last night and what a difference it made. If you have been watching the teaser on a tiny screen and headphones I now understand why your not really excited by the teaser. This film is made for the big screen and sound. 1000000 times better and cooler. I am now officially excited about the film.

Does anyone think that Abrams will make the Stormtroopers act more bad-ass or just make them an inefficient army as in the OT? The good thing about the clone wars cartoons is that the Stormtroopers are pretty awesome soldiers. In the OT, they just look good (same with Boba Fett) - they look bad-ass but were inefficient soldiers.

I was reading on Rebelscum that the writing on the X-Wing pilot's vest reads "pull to inflate".

I hope so. I thought that was interesting in the PT. There were specialized and higher ranked troopers. I'd like to see more of that rather than the cannon fodder of the OT. They are supposed to be trained and highly skilled warriors after all.

I was thinking about this. I've seen it 3 times on my phone but it really hasn't done much for me. I'll try it out on the big screen at home tonight.

I've seen all 6 movies so many times, I couldn't tell you how many.

I think the FX for the PT are now outdated, but for it's time, it did push the envelope. I was afraid they go for the "model"/real approach but to me, this looks similar to EP3 style. I really like the look/feel.

That was frggin' hilarious man! Such a geek. I was immediately thinking of that talking dog video someone had posted here yesterday, but he was so into it.

I actually teared up a little. It's great to see that some people are still able to enjoy something in such an innocent fashion. It warms the heart, doesn't it?

The Empire wasn't destroyed. The Death Star, along with the Emperor and Vader were but the Empire was spread throughout the galaxy. The alliance cut off the head but the tail survived.
