For the record: The Star Wars twitter account and Lucasfilm's Matt Martin said that this poster is just a commemorative one exclusive to the expo.

Yeah I didn't notice that. Like she's not on either side, undecided. She probably have doubts, will she be the Skywalker joining the Sith by the end of The Force Awakens? While Finn and Kylo clearly in the light and dark side respectively. To my eyes Adam Driver has not much resemblance to any of the Skywalker family, Kylo is a member of the Knights of Ren he could just be a Sith Inquisitor with Force ability.

So most of them are in their early 40's or pushing 40, while the oldest one turns 50 in a year.

I understand that this is a profession where you bloom late and tend to be at your most successful later on in life (which there's absolutely nothing wrong with, experience is a good thing), but it's still a bit funny when people talk about men in their 40's like they're kids.
true, but mainly referring directors from the past - maybe in their 60s to 80s now.

JJ Abrams talks Simon Peggs involvement in both the behind the scenes production and the actual film.

Guys, I need some help.

I love Star Wars. Grew up on it, loved the original trilogy, bought the toys, invested in the EU. Heck, even enjoyed the prequels.

But I really started to feel, especially up until Disney bought Star Wars that my fandom was being taken for granted. Clone Wars was not great and the blu-Ray release felt like a cash grab. I just really felt... burned. Like I can no longer trust the creative behind Star Wars.

So now, when all this new stuff is coming and the fandom is roaring, I cannot shake this feeling of absolute and complete apathy and I don't know what the problem is. Can someone help me kick this car out of the mud? Give me a reason to be hyped for December, to start collecting again, to be excited about a new period when the last ended so disappointingly.

If you enjoyed the prequels then you have every reason to be hyped because this movie will undoubtedly be better. I'm personally pumped for Master Skywalker.

Here's my take on who's related to who. This is going by what I've read and seen in some leaked set photos. So, I'm using spoiler tags just in case.

Theory #1:

[Show spoiler]Going by the relationship of Leia and Han, it's likely they ended up getting married. However, by the looks of things, it seems like they possibly separated over several losses. I think one of the being that Kylo Ren is their son. Adam Driver does have a likeness to both Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford if they had a child together. I'm thinking Kylo Ren was thought to have been killed in action as a X-Wing pilot. There were early set photos of Adam Driver wearing pilot gear. So, either he faked/fakes his own death or he was found by the Knights of Ren. So with the thought that their son gone, it caused a rift in the relationship.

Or the leaked set photos of Adam Driver in the pilot gear is a mislead or he'll pull Joker and pretend he's an X-Wing pilot to sabotage a mission.

With that, I think Rey is Luke's daughter. Perhaps something happened to his wife and isolated himself because he felt responsible. Thus, he did what Obi-wan and Yoda decided with Luke and Leah as infants. And to continue the ripple effect George Lucas had with the past two trilogies. Also, every Skywalker's story has begun on a desert planet in the first movie of each trilogy. I'm starting to think that Luke is going to play a similar role to Kevin Flynn in TRON: Legacy.

Also, I actually liked the sound of General Hux being a double agent and end up being the son of Luke. attempting to sabotage The New Order's plans.

Being highly too coincidental, yet could happen, Finn is related to Lando in some manner.

Theory #2:

[Show spoiler]Rey and Kylo Ren are the children of Leia and Han. But wouldn't Han know his own daughter since they have scenes together? Unless it's revealed earlier on.

I don't really see a resemblance between Finn and Luke. So, I think he just ends up using the Anakin's lightsaber at some point.

Makes sense. I feel like this image is a small part of a larger full poster with other characters on it.

That would be cool if Daisy does evolve into an evil character in which these new movies would achieve what the prequels tried to archive with Anakin, while also being similar style/tone to the originals.

Due to the scrunched look on her face it looks like she has her eyes closed and is focusing hard on something. Possibly learning to use her force powers if she has any.
