Just checked several media reports on Daniel Fleetwood's death and there's no mention of his actual opinion. Considering he died only five days afterward I would assume he wasn't in much of a condition to share his opinion, no matter how tight his NDA was.

It's probably the same NDA I've signed for my viewing a little over a week from now. Even if I don't like it (which I bet I will) I am still only allowed to say I "enjoyed" "loved" "appreciated" it, etc. No details allowed, no matter how "minor". My embargo's not even lifted until 12:01 AM, Pacific Time on the 18th. By then everyone will have already seen it. Sucks I can't "spill the beans" or go into depth on my joy, but that's part of the job.

Roger Ebert broke his NDA on The Phantom Menace when internet sites leaked their reviews. There's no way in hell this movie stays bottled up unti 12/18. This thing is going to leak like a six-month-old after drinking a gallon of apple juice.

Except that the theatre just lost thousands of dollars in concession stand revenue. I'm surprised they allowed it. Especially on opening day where their cut of the ticket sales is at its lowest.

I'm sure he could have paid off the theater owner for a private screening after hours at a much lower price.

Yes, that may be true, but I'm not a well-known, liked, loved critic like Ebert was (I'm not a critic at all) and I love my position too much to even remotely violate the trust developed. If someone's diaper leaks, it won't be mine.

I'm sure the theatre has a policy that allows them to resell seats if they're not taken by a certain time, it's not like the guy rented the theatre. The loss in concessions would be astronomical.

But as others have pointed out, I'm sure they're destined for Ebay.
