I'm not sure what browser you use, but with Google Chrome there is a little translate icon at the far right of the address bar. Also when returning, they just give you a list of options to choose from, you can select one that says "product not as advertised" or something. They'll either give you an option of a return label to print out or they'll just automatically refund you. |

I don't think Umbrella's is better, but after they fixed the compression it's probably about equal. I just mean money wise, could probably make $20 or so selling the Twilight Time and getting the Umbrella. I just can't be bothered at the moment.
It's not a situation like Fright Night or Christine where there's an actual better release out there. |

The spanish release was indeed a bootleg with a master lifted from the legitimate 84 Entertainment release which Paramount gave them the master that was used initially for the HD broadcasting. 84 Entertainment then did further cleaning up, and released it. The german disc is a pressed disc and is solid quality. The spanish disc is also defective with numerous moments of image disruption.

I'm happy with the bootleg of FN2 I purchased on eBay. The picture and sound are solid, and it contains the 70 minutes of You're So Cool, Brewster that cover the sequel (this was mostly removed from the documentary on the Eureka release of the original). It is less than 20 dollars, too. I know a lot of collectors have an aversion to burned discs (don't know why; I have burned DVDs from 2004 that have no issues), but this is really the way to go until we get a legitimate release. And that may never happen.

And that's the problem.
Folks down the block bought a $5000 TV off the back of a truck for $500 cash and they;re thrilled with it. Honestly the original thieves should come back and refresh their stock of merchandise from their house and take everything except the TV. Do you report it to the police and give a list of suspect? How would you explain they took everything except a $5000 TV set? Rat on the perps and they rat on you -- kismet. Legit Burned discs -- i don't like and tend to avoid, but at least they're legitimate. Bootleg/Stolen/Pirated copies b/c the 'greedy (insert company/person/entity)' are never OK. $20 for a known bootleg item seems to be the worst of both worlds. Might as well just steal it for Free. |

Why not just pirate it? Then you're not giving someone money to steal, and you're not taking the documentary which IS legally sold and available. You guys should at least pay for the doc, if you're going to watch it.

I do own the complete documentary blu-ray. I bought it directly from Cult Screenings.
