I just watched my copy of the region free Eureka release and was initially upset because I had to triple dip on Fright Night due to the annoying macroblocking issue on TT's 30th anniversary release but after watching the absolutely glorious Eureka release I'm thrilled that I bought it. Not only does it take care of the macroblocking and tones down the brightness but it's also the most superior presentation of Fright Night yet. It brings out the best of the 4K remaster with a better encode and better grain structure which is a pretty drastic difference from both TT releases to my eyes. It's a stunning presentation and I'm beyond relieved that I bought it. Kudos to Eureka!

I'd be interested in double dipping. But I have the first TT release, and this Eureka packaging is ass ugly, imo. If there were some way to still get the steelbook I'd be more inclined since the ratings logo on the front is gone and the giant EUREKA! logo on the spine isn't as noticeable.

For real. I couldn't care less about the packaging, just give me good audio and video presentation. But that's just me.

Eureka's release of Fright Night is down to about $14 USD shipped. It's region free, and arguably the best release to date.

Which version of this movie is the best to watch? If I end up getting this in the future should I go with Eureka or Twilight? Going by Caps-A-Holic there's little to no difference other than colors being a little different and I believe the Twilight version is brighter. I know it's hard to compare Blurays just off screenshots alone. We need to have a website that show side by side comparison of what the two look like in motion. I don't see a dramatic difference tho by the screenshots alone. Are both versions 4k scans or is only the Eureka a 4k scan? I do prefer to go with higher def scans even if it's not noticeable on screenshots alone. As I said I think you can tell by motion which is better.
