Have any BFI releases come in blue cases recently despite originally being clear cases?

I think that always was a blue case. It used to be that clear cases were for dual formats and blue cases were for single disc editions. So a few of the BFI titles I own do have blue cases, like Carmen Jones, Night and the City, Cry of the City, Man with a Movie Camera.

Yes, quite a few of the early releases were slimline blue cases like The Innocents, The Leopard. This was also how Eureka operated before they lost stock during the warehouse fire during the London riots, and then reprinted titles as dual formats in clear Amaray cases.

Now that the Viva cases have made some cosmetic adjustments - darker blue plastic and a curved ridge at the top - I’ve made peace with them, but I still don’t like the clear blue ones if I can avoid them, as they look too out of place. But the clear Viva cases make them too apparent and I would rather have the earlier cases, though I know cases have changed before, like around 2016/17 Eureka and Arrow titles with clear cases with the Blu-ray logo aligned to the right, similar to PS3 cases.

I actually feel more of an impetus to get some earlier titles (I bought Seven Samurai, The Glass Shield and An Actor’s Revenge recently) just so I still have the Amaray cases.

So I prefer getting from HMV in store or eBay listings so I can actually see the cases.

BFI's upcoming The River Blu-ray will include Robert Rossellini's documentary India Matri Bhumi as a special feature.

It was restored a few years ago as part of the Rossellini project but unfortunately only the Italian version.

Probably a stupid question, but I've never ordered from Rarewaves so where would one find a code if it were going around?
